One Thursday evening in March
What’s a craftalong class you say? Traditionally, craftalongs are social gatherings focused on a shared project and they are not a class. Classes are focused (often) on learning new techniques, and at Yarn Farm they tend to be very small like 4-6 people for special attention.
We’re launching a new experience, a craftalong class! This is a social gathering where you will get instruction and help with new techniques and we’ll all kick off a project together.
In our March Monogram Embroidery craftalong class we’ll all start to work on a lovely embroidery kit. Hand embroidery is a magical, portable craft where you create beauty with only a needle and thread, and in this case we use a hoop too. Jocelyn will explain the overall steps to sewing the embroidery design, coach you through setting up your project in its hoop, and give you tips for success!
This is a beginner-friendly class. If you already know how to sew, great! If not, this is a good opportunity to start with guidance and some new friends.
Due to the customary time needed to embroider a kit, you will not finish your project during the duration of this class. The class is designed to get you started and set up for success.
Course fee of $40 includes your monogram embroidery kit (value $12).
Teacher: Jocelyn Songco
Minimum 2 people to confirm the craftalong class, maximum of 8 students total. If we don’t reach the minimum of two students by 3 days before the date of the first class we’ll refund your purchase in full. Read and understand our Class Policies here.
