You will create a colorful watercolor painting led by Hudson Valley Atelier instructor Carlise Azmitia.

April: Yarn Still Life

Come with friends or on your own and nourish your creativity! This paint and sip will last approximately ninety minutes.

Carlise will lead us through light pencil sketching of our yarn still life, to celebrate Local Yarn Store Day this month and every month! Then we will use wet on wet, layering, wet on dry, dry brush, and detail techniques to bring out yarn textures and finishing touches to our projects. This will be a more beginner moderate level.

Event fee: $45 includes instruction in a small group setting, supplies and your choice of one alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage (Pom Pom cocktail or Pom mocktail for an additional $5 fee). At YFK we offer wine, local beer and hard cider, fresh brewed artisanal tea (locally blended) and sodas.

Cancellation Policy (updated 4/16/25): Group classes require one week's notice before the first class for store credit. No credit issued after this time, including no-shows on the day-of. If the class is cancelled by us because we have not met the stated minimum number of students, you will receive a full refund. Private sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled no later than 48 hours before the lesson for store credit.
