Nurture a new love for needlepoint!

In this one-hour course our resident needlepoint enthusiast Nancy will guide you through starting a needlepoint project and the basics you need!

This course is FREE with your purchase of needlepoint supplies from Yarn Farm Kingston. For needlepoint, you simply need a canvas (blank or with a design), and a needle and thread suitable for the canvas type you’ve selected.*

Come by to select a hand-painted canvas and threads to use and get a needle for free. Our beginner-friendly prepared kits with canvas, threads, needle and pouch cost approx. $85. Or choose to work with a piece of blank canvas and one or more color threads and a needle and this will cost you approx. $20-25+.  We can help you shop!

Registration: When you purchase your materials at our shop, Jocelyn will register you into a class date/time that suits your schedule. Or, use our shop laptop to email your top three preferred dates to Jocelyn, who will send you your class confirmation in turn. Come and see what there is to love about needlepoint!

For this free class, our minimum is one person to confirm the class, maximum of 4 students total. Once you are registered, if you need to reschedule please contact us by 48 hours before your class to keep the value of your free class. This course is intended for adults.

*Beyond these essential tools it can be helpful to have embroidery scissors, a needle minder and a project pouch to help your stitching. We have these at the shop too!
