  • 21 W. Strand St. Kingston US (map)

Six Sessions over 6 Weeks: 7/17, 7/24, 7/31, 8/7, 8/14 and 8/21.

Ready to be a hooker?

Learn to crochet in this intensive course! We will meet every Thursday evening for ninety minutes from mid-July through mid-August.

You will learn:

·       How to hold a hook and manage your yarn

·       Foundational stitches: chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet and more

·       How to follow simple patterns

·       How to make flat and 3D crocheted pieces

·       How to work with two colors

·       How to make motifs: a flat floral motif and a granny square

Designed as an intensive course, we will cover a lot of content in each ninety-minute session and each session will build on the next. You should plan to attend every session. After class, the space is yours for an additional half-hour. We welcome you to continue crocheting with your classmates to practice what you learned in class.

Regrets, there will be no makeups if you are unable to attend a session and there are no refunds. Please thoughtfully consider this and only sign up if your schedule is clear and you can commit to attending all the sessions.

No prior crochet or fiber arts knowledge is required. This class will cover the basics and everything you need to crochet beginner projects and follow written beginner crochet patterns.
