This class is meant for beginners who have already taken their very first Beginner Crochet (one-hour) class where we covered the chain stitch and single crochet stitch.

In this “Plus” class we’ll cover half double and double crochet, after a very quick review of the chain and single crochet stitches. This “Plus” class is also a good option if you learned how to crochet in the past and would like a refresher. This is a one-hour class vs. our two-part Crochet 101 course for beginners that meets twice for two hours each session.

We expect to offer the “Plus” version of our beginner classes on our last Saturday class of each month, so you can plan accordingly and take one Beginner Crochet class early in a given month, then this one towards the end of that month.

Materials Fee if this is your first class: $20 for Kelbourne Woolens Germantown 100% wool and Chia Goo bamboo hook OR we can help you pick from other yarn + hook options that are suitable for beginners. Otherwise, no materials fee necessary. Just bring your yarn from your first class.
